I've been where you are.
My name is Jeremy Palmer. I started my first business in 2000 — a web design shop I ran out of my apartment. Since then I've launched 10+ companies, managed millions in ad spend, and built Quit Your Day Job — a program that helped 30,000+ people start businesses of their own.
I've been in Austin, TX for most of that journey. I've been broke and I've been comfortable. I've had businesses that printed money and businesses that cratered. The one thing I've never done is go back to working for someone else.
Why SMB Kickstart exists
In 25 years of building businesses, I've never seen a moment like this. The barrier to starting has never been lower. AI tools that didn't exist two years ago can now do the work that used to require a team of five. A solo founder today has more leverage than a funded startup had in 2015.
But here's the flip side: those same tools are making traditional employment less secure by the month. The CEO of Anthropic said 50% of entry-level white-collar jobs could disappear within 5 years. Klarna cut 4,000 people. Every big company is running the same math on every department right now.
I built SMB Kickstart because I think the best response to that reality is ownership. Not panic, not denial — a plan. A real plan, built for your actual situation, by someone who's done it enough times to know what works and what's a waste of time.
What this is not
This is not a course. This is not a coaching program (yet). This is not a generic blog full of “7 tips to start a business.”
It's a tool. You tell it who you are, what you have, and what you're afraid of. It gives you a 90-day plan with specific steps, specific tools, and links to guides I wrote for each step. All backed by AI that can adapt the plan to your exact situation.
The world changed. Your plan should too.
